Thanksgiving Food Drive - UPDATE: The Jeans/Sweatpants Day for the food drive will NOT be held on November 26th as previously announced. It will now be held on a date in December before Christmas break. The exact date is to be announced.

Today, we held out 1st Quarter Awards Assembly at Holy Angels School. Some of those we honored were our Wing of the Quarter recipients for 1st quarter. These students got the year off to a great start. Congratulations goes to:
Preschool: Kamilla Grillot
Pre-Kindergarten: Ryker Watkins
Kindergarten: James Krafcik
1st Grade: River Siler
2nd Grade: Sophia Duckro
3rd Grade: Luke Williamson
4th Grade: Olive Clark
5th Grade: Jimmy Williamson
6th Grade: Addie Witt
7th Grade: Leah Higgins
8th Grade: Kamryn Dahlinghaus
Staff: Miss Angela Wagner
Thank you all for being great role models in your classrooms and in our school!

The wait is almost over - Purse Bingo is THIS SATURDAY! We have a limited number of tickets left and a big variety of designer purses and bags of all different sizes and colors. Don't miss your chance to win big! Tickets can be purchased for $30 a piece in the school office today and tomorrow from 8am to 4pm or until they are all sold.

Today at our 1st quarter awards ceremony, we recognized 7 gentlemen as special Angels Among Us recipients. These young men met another young man while out trick-or-treating on Halloween who had a disability. They included him in their group and shared their candy with him. A staff member at Holy Angels School saw a post about these boys' good deed on Facebook, which would have otherwise gone unrecognized. They did it out of the kindness of their hearts, not expecting anything in return. Thank you for your kindness and congratulations to William Cotterman, Beck Verhotz, Mason Verhotz, Oliver Fortkamp, Isaac Smith, Noah LaForme, and Grant Wyan!

All are invited to join our 7th and 8th grade students Monday as we honor those who have served our beautiful country!

Our Pre-K students had so much fun participating in their own Election Day today! They voted on pressing matters, such as their favorite holidays and colors, and what they would like their next class reward to be.. the winner of that ballot was a game day! Of course, no Election Day is complete without your “I Voted” sticker.

The 6th grade class never had the opportunity to go to the Ohio Caverns in 1st grade due to Covid. They finally got to see the caverns! What a fun trip. Thanks Mrs. Stiver for taking them!

Students in Grades 6th-8th who earned ZERO detentions and/or ZERO missing assignments (not late) between Friday, October 5th-Monday, November 4th will have the opportunity to purchase a decaffeinated coffee, hot chocolate, or apple cider Wednesday, November 6th! If you would like your child to participate please send in the money with them needed to purchase their drink Wednesday.
