Holy Angels Catholic School is excited to announce that, in collaboration with the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, we are adopting Raptor as part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing school safety and streamlining visitor management in our schools. This app builds on our existing visitor procedures, offering a more convenient and secure check-in process for everyone. Visitors to Holy Angels School will now need to be prepared to scan their driver's license or government ID upon arrival to the front office, where their identity will be scanned against the sex offender registry and an ID sticker with their name and photo will be printed for them to wear for the duration of their visit to the school. Alternatively, visitors are able to download the Raptor Safe app and create an account in advance, so that when they arrive at the school, they can scan the provided QR code on the app and streamline their sign in process. Thank you for helping us keep our school safe. We appreciate your patience as we all adapt to this new security measure.

The National Shrine of the Little Flower Basilica in Royal Oak, Michigan is welcoming their patroness to the basilica Oct. 1-8, 2025. The Shrine is honored to host the relics of St. Thérèse of Lisieux in the 100th year of her canonization as a saint and their 100th year as a parish. Registration to attend Mass or venerate the relics is now open! This is the first time her relics have visited in 25 years and is just under a three hour drive from Sidney. This is a wonderful chance, especially for our 8th graders preparing for Confirmation. Please consider making a family trip up this weekend for this once in a lifetime opportunity!

A huge thank you to everyone who participated in our Candy Sale fundraiser by buying or selling and to Stephanie Sollmann for organizing it! All families who sold at least one box of candy will be eligible for the out of uniform day (email going out with more info later this week). In the meantime, we want to recognize our top three selling families who all won Amazon gift cards: 1st place is the Wolters family, 2nd place is the Sollmann family, and 3rd place is the Bailey family. The top selling class, winners of a catered lunch, was Mr. Bensman’s 8th grade class. And finally the family who won the raffle for a Lehman Winter Season Family Sports Pass was the LaForme family.
