Good morning Holy Angels Families,
Believe it or not, it is time to start thinking about the 2025-2026 school year already! As we begin preparing for next year, one piece of information that is vital for successful planning is having an accurate idea of enrollment numbers.
Just like we did for this school year, for the 2025-2026 school year, we will be using an automatic re-enrollment system for our current students. This means that all students currently enrolled at Holy Angels School will be automatically re-enrolled for next school year with no registration paperwork needed from the family. Families will be billed the registration fee accordingly (see below for rates).
Families who do not wish to enroll their child(ren) at Holy Angels next year must inform the school office by Wednesday, April 30, 2025. Failure to un-enroll your student(s) by that date will result in you being billed the registration fee, which is non-refundable and must be paid along with any other outstanding fees before we can transfer student records to the new school of choice.
2025-2026 Registration Fee rates are as follows:
1. Families who pay the registration fee at any point between now and February 28th will be charged the rate of $100 per family. Families who only have a Little Angels Preschool or Pre-Kindergarten student will be charged $25.
2. Families who pay the registration fee anytime between March 1st and April 30th will be charged the rate of $200 per family. Families who only have a Little Angels Preschool or Pre-Kindergarten student will be charged $30.
3. Families who have not paid their registration fee from May 1st onward will be charged $250 per family. Families who only have a Little Angels Preschool or Pre-Kindergarten student will be charged $50.
If you believe your family would have any trouble paying the registration fee, please do not wait. Contact us as soon as possible as assistance is available. We do not want a family's financial situation to stop their child(ren) from attending Holy Angels School! Thank you for your understanding as we work to best serve staff, teachers, and Holy Angels families in preparing for next school year.

The Jeans/Sweatpants Day for the Thanksgiving Food Drive will be this Thursday , December 12th. As a reminder, students who donated $2 OR 2 non-perishable food items are eligible to participate. Homeroom teachers kept track for their class of who brought items in, so eligibility questions can be directed to them. Thanks for your support of this annual holiday tradition!

Holy Angels Advent Event
Good Morning, Holy Angels School will be on a two hour delay due to temperature and areas of black ice. There will be not Before Care or Morning Pre-School. Drive safely and have a blessed day.
2025 1000 Club Tickets are being mailed home soon! For those that don't know, the 1000 Club is a raffle drawing that Holy Angels does each year as a fundraising opportunity for the school. Tickets are $20 a piece and each ticket is one entry. Once a month for the whole year, we draw 2 names, and each name drawn wins $500 for that month. So there are 24 chances to win $500 each year. We mail tickets to parishioners, give them to staff and teachers, and send a set home with each school family. There is no obligation to purchase the tickets, but families are encouraged to if you are able as it's a fun and easy way to support the school while having an opportunity to win some big bucks! If you do not want your tickets, please turn them back in at the school office so we can have them to sell. The first drawing is going to be on Wednesday, January 29th at our Open House. We want to provide all parents and guardians with a few reminders about attendance policies and procedures. Please read carefully and ensure your family is following the procedures, especially for tardies and call-offs. The school day begins at 8:15am and ends at 3:15pm. Students may not arrive earlier than 7:50am unless they are here for Before Care. Students who are dropped off at the school prior to 7:50am will be placed in Before Care and charged the drop-in rate for Before Care. Students may not stay at school past 3:15pm unless they are here with the knowledge and permission of faculty or staff for things like tutoring, student council, volunteering, etc. Students who are not picked up on time will be brought back into the school and placed into After Care and will be charged the drop-in rate for After Care.
Students who need to leave school early must be picked up and signed out in the office by their parent/guardian or by another person designated by the parent or guardian. Students who arrive at 8:15am or later need to be brought into the office and signed in by the parent/guardian and will be given a tardy slip to give to their teacher.
ANY STUDENT WHO WILL BE TARDY OR COMING IN LATE FOR ANY REASON, OR A STUDENT WHO WILL BE ABSENT FOR THE DAY MUST BE REPORTED VIA THE ATTENDANCE LINE BY 8:15AM. The attendance line is a direct-to-voicemail line that can be accessed by families 24/7 by calling the school at 937-492-9293 and dialing the extension for the attendance line. Any student absent after 8:15am with no call to the attendance line will be marked as an unexcused absence. Please help make the office staff's morning go as smoothly as possible by calling and leaving a voicemail on the attendance line notifying of your child's absence or late arrival before 8:15am every morning to limit the number of calls that have to be made home. Keeping your child safe is our number one priority, and without a notification from you of their intended absence or late arrival, we have no way of knowing if they are safe or if something may have happened to them on the way to school.
If you have any questions or concerns about the attendance policy, please see the section in the student handbook, which is available on our website. Hard copies are available in the back of the agendas every student received at the start of the year.
Friday was the midterm of the 2nd quarter. Please be sure to login to Gradelink and check your child's progress on grades, attendance, and discipline to see where they stand so far for 2nd quarter. Thank you!
