The lunch menu has been adjusted due to closing today. Wednesday, we will be serving pulled pork sandwiches, french fries, fruit and a cookie; no salad option. Thursday we will have Mac and Cheese, mixed vegetables, fruit, and go-gurt On Friday, we will have Bosco Breadsticks, salad, fruit, and a brownie.

We're excited to continue announcing our fun activities for Read Across America Week March 3rd-7th. Students will have an opportunity to "Get Caught" reading during appropriate school time, such as in study hall when they have completed all their other work, or after completing a test or assignment while waiting for others to finish. Students who "Get Caught" will immediately be given a bookmark that they can decorate and color to use, as well as a ticket to put their name on to be entered in for drawings. The students who have their names drawn will be able to pick out a book from the Ignatius Press Book Fair that the school will purchase for them! Read Across America Week 2025 is less than two weeks away - be sure to have your reading book ready so you can Get Caught Reading!

Holy Angels School will be operating on a 2-hour delay, tomorrow, Tuesday, February 18th. There will be no Before Care or Morning Preschool. The doors will open at 9:50 a.m. and school will begin at 10:15 a.m.

We still have a few spots left in our Kindergarten, Pre-K, and Preschool Screening on Tuesday, April 8th! Be sure to sign up at https://bit.ly/HolyAngelsScreening. Attending screening is a great chance to see if Holy Angels School is the right fit for your child for the 2025-2026 school year and attending screening is not a commitment to attend.


We are excited to announce that during Read Across America Week, March 3rd-7th, all grades at Holy Angels School will be taking walking field trips to Peter's Pense Religious Library in Downtown Sidney! Peter's Pense offers a wide variety of Catholic educational materials, primarily books, and our students are looking forward to viewing the library's many offerings, learning about their summer reading program, and more. Parents and guardians, permission slips are being sent home with students and must be returned by Thursday, February 27th.
Additionally, Holy Angels School will be holding a jeans/sweatpants day for students on Tuesday, March 11th, the week after Read Across America Week. Students may wear jeans or sweatpants for $1 and all proceeds will benefit Peter's Pense.


During Read Across America Week this year, March 3rd-7th, all students at Holy Angels School will be invited to participate in an Accelerated Reader Reading Competition! The student who earns the most points that week will be announced at the end of the day Friday and will win a Kids Kindle Fire! Kindles are able to be used to check out books and other materials directly from their local library using their library card, as well as access educational, kid appropriate learning games. Get ready to start earning points!


With parent teacher conferences last night and no school today, Holy Angels students celebrated their St. Valentine's Day parties Wednesday! Kindergarten had a great time at theirs.

Our Pre-K students had a visit from Jenny Guisinger with Jenny’s designs. They were able to create their own floral arrangements just in time for Valentine’s Day!











Due to possible incoming ice the science fair tonight has been cancelled and will be rescheduled for Friday February 21 from 1:30-3:00 in the HA gym. Both the 6th and 8th grade will be set up and families are welcome to come and enjoy their projects and presentations.

8th grade recently celebrated 800 and 900 iReady lessons passed! Keep up the great work and way to start the 2nd semester off right.

Read Across America Week is coming up! In just over two weeks, we will celebrate reading and promote a love of literacy at Holy Angels School. We have tons of fun activities planned and opportunities to win big prizes, from free book fair books to a Kids Kindle Fire!
