Farm Day part 2 pictures

Yesterday our class had an amazing day exploring and learning! We visited MVP Dairy, where students discovered how a working dairy farm operates. They were fascinated to learn about the farm’s 4,000 cows, how they are milked, and the care that goes into keeping them healthy and comfortable. It was a wonderful hands-on connection to what we’ve been learning in our Farm to Table Social Studies Unit!
After our tour, we headed to Marcelina Park for a picnic lunch. Students enjoyed relaxing together and had a great time playing on the playground. It was the perfect way to wrap up a fun and educational day!

Today our 5th Grade class had their DARE graduation. A special thank you to Officer Pierce, the Sheriff's Department, and our County Commissioners for attending this event. Congratulations to Jonathan Herring for winning the essay contest.

Thank you Lehman Catholic students for donating your time to serve Holy Angels school today! We appreciate your help! One project they helped with was our playground mulch. (Not pictured) Our outdoor space looks a lot better and is safer for our students! 💙💛

The 8th grade class has learned about the presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives by making Holy Spirit water bottles! The glitter represents the power of the Holy Spirit given at baptism. After Confirmation, we added red glitter to remind us of the power of the Holy Spirit sealed in us at Confirmation. The presence of God is always in us, we just need to remember to call on the power of God to help us. Every time the students shake their bottle, it’s like prayer - it activates the presence of God in our lives and enhances our life to make it more beautiful for Christ!
Congratulations to our 8th graders who were confirmed!

Our 1st Grade is growing grass for their front lawns. What a fun science experiment! Thanks Mrs. Lozzio.
